Favorite side?

Whats everyones favorite side, mines Nod. Because of the Light Tank.

For me GDI and Nod both have their good and bad points but I guess Nod edges it slightly because of the Artillery and Stealth units but their base defences are by far the worse.

I had the idea (before I went online) the Nod had an edge because they had the 2 extra turrets.
Then I found out the turrets never hit, and the Obelisk can get pwned by a 2-person rush...

I prefer the Soviets on some maps, and the Allies on other maps (RenAlert).

I prefer the GDI simply because of their sheer power; I think RPG Compnent Towers are highly under-estimated.

There is no RPG Component Tower in this game, unless you're speaking of a mod that nobody's heard of (or Reborn, eugh).

Don't think I stated my opinion about the side yet...

GDI is better in base defense, since no infantry will survive the AGT, but the Nod are better in assaulting, as they have all those cheap vehicles and the stealth and lazer technology...
Thus, I usually let lady luck decide my side, I don't mind...

Oh yeah sorry, well anyway i dont play renegade so i dont really have an opinion, so i suppose i should stop posting in these forums :p

Meh if i played Renegade (i own it but played it but twice) then i would pick NOD.

I dont have renegade, but can you play as NOD in multiplayer?And if so, is there really any difference between GDI or NOD?

NOD have PWNAGE with the Stanks and Flame tanks :D there APC is great for anti-apache/inf duty. Light tanks a bit crap compaired to the GDI med and Mammy but cost less. There choppers not bad against inf and light targets bit crap Vs armour i find.

And the Ob of Light :D majoy Uber PWNness and it looks so damn sweet charging and firing :D

Ohhh and the Artys quite good in groups Vs Mammys (strictly long range thou)


As for the inf.....

Stealth :D Got 2 great sniper classes and the laser mini-gun is soooooo sweet.

GDI is decent for the med tanks... but fo some reason no one can get organized with the meds... thats why NOD rewlz... but GDI does have the patch witch owns the n00bs still playin wit free characters 10 mins in the game!!!

I agree with Nod. Although, I think the Guard Tower for GDI is better than the obelisk because it doesn't have to charge. And the Black hands pwn, not like Sakura though.

NOD in renegade has some advantages, but you must look at GDI aswell. The Ion Cannon is an awesome weapon, not too mention its kewl as hell.

NOD's stealth tanks are deadly when in the hands of a veteran...
Mammoths are good for stand-offs and sieging a NOD base...
Orca is de same as apache, even though i like the blue light thingy from the orca :)
The mlrs is much better than an artillery, even though the arty has an extremley hi fire power, mlrs has a greater chance of hitting and is better against inf.

I once killed 2 mammoths using one flame tank. I think they were noobs, but afterward i had only taken 200 damage. Circling around the mammoths was soooo funny.
