Actually, it does have XP support. They announced that.

I'll most likey buy it. Or "accquire" it. One or the two. I haven't decided yet. Its not as though there is anything really new... And who really wants to watch a bunch of fan videos and a few doco's?

Though it isn't too bad for the amount of games you get.. Even if they are from last millenium. (heheh sounds good that ;) )

It's $40, which means it's about... 23 pounds, give or take.

All of them work on XP anyway, I don't see what the fuss is about.

Yes, that is true. Basically they are just re-releasing for some reason...

They better change the resolutions for the earlier games to more acceptable levels... 640 x 480 isn't good on a 17" screen.

Clazzy

TS' resolution may be changed to anything you want in the sun.ini. I'm unsure about TD and RA, though.

if it's all XP compatible I might buy it purely so I have them all as a single set

cos i have all the individual games, but its a nuisance having to get them patched and whatnot to work on XP

Hence the whole earlier games comment ;)

17".... lol

my 22" is not gona like damn 640 x 480 either :D im wanting at least 1280 x 1024 :D

Also prob not posible but ability to zoom....... doubtfull thou, i think.

chickendippers

They won't introduce zooming, that's a major thing....why do you need to zoom in older games anyway? It'd go all pixelated.

MadBadger
07-11-2005, 06:36 PM
well if you wack up the resolution the screen increases in size (good) but tanks ect go mini (bad) so i want good big screen and decent sized tanks (also looks better at higher ressi)

Clazzy

Zooming is possible in TS using map triggers, but you lose the mouse image. YR actually used this in cutscenes.

MadBadger

well im not too fussed about zooming i do want a chance to play the original comand and conquer :D
