So, I just got a new car, and after I replaced the boring (and not factory) steel wheels it came with, it really looks nice.

It's a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. It's very nice, and fun.

This got me thinking, what do those of you who can drive, drive?

"Tonight at 11, more information on the tragic car crash which left a young man who goes by the name 'Bean' dead." :p
(I suppose that is some real sadistic humor, but oh well. Please nobody reccommend me for counseling!)
So does anyone here have a car? Or is everyone here from Europe and find driving prohibitively expensive?

Meh I live so close to Newcastle town centre there's no point in having a car, and I can get to Europe's largest shopping centre on the train in 2 minutes.

How do you mean "better?"
It's a sports car, not a Mercedes, so leather's out of the question (you'd know what I mean if you've ever tried staying in your seat while pounding around twisty roads in leather.) Plus, the black/gray checkered seat pattern is a 2.5RS trademark... thing.
In other car news, I just got it registered and inspected, and it also has some aftermarket pedals I just installed the other day, and a new head unit sitting in a box ready to go in.
I love this car. :D

A very nice choice, good to see you didn't go for one of the current models, they just don't look right =/

Spot on with the colour choice and trim etc. on the body, and some nice wheels too. A good choice i reckon!

Myself, i have an old Pegeout 106 1.1 Litre that i got from a mate for £350 :D

Myself, i have an old Pegeout 106 1.1 Litre that i got from a mate for £350 :DI couldn't afford one of the newer models (hell, probably couldn't really afford this one.) It was totally worth it, though. You can see the teal-green car I used to drive in the background and, well, blah. :|

I'm in Vermont, but I've also been looking for a while, and these cars are pretty rare to find. Where in Canada are you located?
