The Command and Conquer series celebrates it's 12th year today, Apoc sent this email around:Tomorrow, on August 31, 2007 Command & Conquer celebrates its 12th Anniversary. This is an honor reserved for only a few video game franchises including Mario, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, and so forth. Thanks largely to your efforts and continuing to sustain and grow the Command & Conquer community, we are among great company. Command & Conquer is a legendary franchise and it’s time to celebrate its birth once again.
In order to give back to the fans for your decade of devotion we are putting together a 12th Anniversary celebration during the month of September. However, as any Command & Conquer fan knows, the true party starts tomorrow, August 31st, which will mark 12 years since Command & Conquer Gold launched way back in 1995.
Tomorrow, we have a special surprise that will by no means be “revolutionary”, but we think new and old Command & Conquer fans will enjoy it. Continuing on in the month of September, be sure to keep your eyes on our official site at www.commandandconquer.com (http://www.commandandconquer.com/) each week as we plan to celebrate and remember 12 years of Command & Conquer in a number of different ways
I am personally excited about this community driven initiative and hope you guys enjoy our efforts and passion as we celebrate the Command & Conquer 12th anniversary.
It should be a fun month for Command & Conquer fans. Keep your eyes peeled on our site tomorrow when we officially say Happy Birthday again to Command & Conquer!
