Really, Really Bad!

I just installed C&C 95 and my other cpu, got magic disc, and patched and it gave me either a virus or crashed my memory.

Problem: few programs can run, no start bar, printer uninstalled, wont shut-down automatically (says windows is shutting down for 12 straight hours, and im not exaggerating!), internet ****ed (im on my other cpu)

Where did you get C&C95 from? I highly doubt any disk published by EA contains a virus. Also this is a lesson in the usefulness of having an up-to-date virus scanner.

It might not be a virus at-all, sometimes computers can just keel over if you accidentally delete an important file. Regardless of the problem, or how it was caused, if a full virus sweep doesn't clear the problem then it sounds like you'll have to reformat.
