Imagine that you live in the C&C Universe. It is 2020, and the Second Tiberium War is ready to unfold. You are a neutral citizen in, let's say, a small town in the Balcans. And you have the option (and you should consider yourself lucky, not many have it) to choose a side in the next war.
Besides GDI and NOD, you are lucky enough to have two more options. You have some relatives in the equatorial areas in Africa. You have heard rumors that the area is heavily contaminated and that there are some horrible things going on there (mutations...), but you know for sure that you will be welcomed. Another option is to sit silently in your place...

Well, apparently, it is a smart choice. Until the twilight of the Tiberian Era you would be pretty safe.
B-U-T, don't be too happy.
1) After the period known as "Operation: Firestorm", most of humanity began migrating towards the Antartic.
2) When SCRIN will come, you won't be able to hide from them (but this is other story...).

The forgotten, Homo Tiberius, are indeed weak, and were used both by GDI and NOD. They lack the organisation, military power and technology of the two superpowers.

But in the Twilight of Tiberium Era, when the truth will be unveiled, and Scrin will come for their planet, it is likelly that they, only they, will survive.
