I hope there's a sequel to Generals. Sure, it was different, but it was still fun and enjoyable. However, I'd still want them to complete Red Alert 3 and the expansion before doing anything like that.

why flame you? CNCGenerals has played its part in the CNC legacy. Can you say that CNC3 would have been as big as it is without Generals? Generals got alot of people interested in CNC... Whose to say that it wasn't the 'right' people? Sure the plot was paper thin and ZH tipped it over the edge... but its still fun to play! I want a more 'realistic' feel once in a while, no towerscraper sized freaking robots please! Kane Wars is for the simple minded... heck it's fun... but come on...

I would like a G:2 after RA3... heck why not? then a new Tiberium game etc etc... Just increase the stats of the engine... make it more playable... heck CNC6 where they introduce the online ability to play as commander building the units you send against another commander, while other humans are running a more BF2 style assault on the ground.

How sic would it be... some humans on the ground capture a flag close to the enemy base, you hellie drop an MCV in and start building tanks you then send in to help the humans take out defenses! =P

Or on the other side... Commander dude sends in some A-10's clear out some bunkers for you. You and your men run in covered by fire from some choppers sent in by the commander. Capture the flag and jump into a tank thats spawned there then stage a 30 min battle where you defend the flag against the enemy commanders tanks/humans. You jumpo out the tank and drive off in a nearby Humvee. Then a message pops up telling you and your squad theres a harvester in a nearby field. You drive over and slowly follow it back to the refinery, where you slam on the gas and go in all guns blazing while air strikes take out pillboxes n the like :p (behind its LOS even so the enemy commander wont ever know your there... you shoulda had some other humans on guard)

Hell... I wouldn't even mind joining a game to do guard duty on the Commanders base... If nothings attacking it then alls good. Give me a nice SAM site to take control of, Some nice posts on the Obelisk of light you could sit at with a sniper rifle. Hell cos we have an airfield i can go and grab a plane off it that re spawns and go bomb someone!

Obviously a load of un selectable humans on the screen might annoy whoever commanding... parachuting everywhere, causing traffic jams... Forcing you to hold down CTRL and force firing on them :p Would be able to place a building anywhere but if a human was there it wouldn't look completely built till they left. Hell the units the Humans on the ground use will be part of the buildings you lay down. Re spawning for there enjoyment :p Thou number of units would still have to only number 5-10 for a medium sized base. Taking on enemy commander controlled infantry Squads wont be for the faint of heart... hell the Hero's will be like mini-bosses :p

Imagine the scope of such a game... :D



Ahhh... i can dream* :p But it's gonna be a sic game to play!




*In my dreams the game has unlockables and ranks! I want to be able to Airdrop a tank for myself after I've earned a few million! Have that uber cool purple paint job for my Command center with a giant Anarchy logo, Start with the sniper rifle that has the exploding poision darts! Or be able to get that great new aqua ion ore filter for my refineries lol :D

eh, never going to happen tbh. EA have Tiberium, Red Alert and Tiberium. So they don't need another RTS really.

Well why not? would you buy it? Games in the very near future are going to be Epic... just look at GTA4...
