"The End of C&C Saga (http://www.geocities.com/semionsem/The_End_of_the_CnC_Saga.pdf)" by Agent Saimon. PDF, 13 pages, 90KB
A few monthes ago I was thinking about a possible ending for the Tiberian Saga [RA,TD,TS,FS,TT]. I was thinking about something that would summarize the idea, the message and the moral of the whole story, something that would be correct and logical regards to the plot. Something without forced "good guys always win" or "happy-end"s but about how it would really end.
There are 2 things that many Sci-Fi fans miss when they imagine a battle between humanity and extraterrestrial intelligent creatures ("aliens"):
1) Aliens would be far more advanced technologically. We wouldn't have a chance against them, just as Neanderthals wouldn't have a chance against modern humans.
2) If aliens had wanted to conquer our planet and elliminate the human race, they wouldn't have attacked us with superbombs and big spaceships, because such actions would destroy the resources they come for and damage the ability of this planet to support life.
They would rather use some covert tactics. For example- make humans fight between themselves. Or to try and change this planet without us knowing about it.
I have tried to imagine "the last chapters", the last "few pages", when the truth is unveiled and the plot reaches culmination. The plot will happen in the end of the Third Tiberian War, in the Twilight of the Tiberian Era.
And I thought to myself: "Why not to write it down? Instead of waiting for someone to write the end, and then disagree with him, to try and write my own version of the "End of the C&C Saga" ?" I've already had some experience in C&C fan-fiction, so why not to try and take this a step forward?
The result were 3 shortchapters and an epilogue on 13 pages. The language level wasn't very high, more details could be added, the moral was too bold, and i'm sure there is plenty of little mistakes, but it wasn't too bad.

I will be very glad if anyone reads it, and has questions, comments, recommendations. I am open to any remarks and critics. Aside with the pleasure of writing it, and discussing it later, some education is also a good reward.
