tiberium wars patch corrupt / incomplete

when i download the tiberian sun patch and try to extract it, it says it is corrupt or incomplete. anyone else had this happen. thanks for any help or info

I tested the download, and it seems to work correctly. That just means your download failed for some reason; simply try downloading it again, or get it from the official Westwood FTP site here (ftp://ftp.westwood.com/pub/tiberiansun/).

thanks for the info and link but when i click on the ftp link its not available either. even from the westwood forums the ftp link doesnt work. not sure if the problem is my end or not. I was able to get the patch through the game easily with kanes wrath, but evertime i try to get the patch for tiberium through the game it just sits there

whats up when it says missing or invalid registry. are you supposed to save the patch directly into the folder for the game off of the ftp?

That doesn't matter at all. You can run it from anywhere. Registry entries are unrelated to the file system.

What are you trying to patch anyway? A CD install, or The First Decade? TFD shouldn't be patched, it's already the latest version (2.03).

i am trying to patch the cd install for tiberium wars for C&C3. it wont auto update.

yes thats where I looked to begin with and installed that patch which keeps coming up saying its corrupted. sorry for posting this in the wrong section. its no biggie though, figured a mod would have fixed the post and moved it by now but np.

I'd do it, but I don't seem to have moderator rights...

I'm downloading the TW patch though; I'll tell you if it's indeed corrupted or not. If not, something just went wrong with your transfer and you simply need to download it again.

The patch was downloaded, extracted and executed without any problems. Seems like you just had a problem with the download connection...
