The IFV

Okay, so I really just made this topic as sort of an appriciation thread for the good'ol Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

IMO this is THE most versatile, imaginative and interesting unit. You can do so much with it!

I especially love them whilst playing with both Soviet and Allied units.



DESOLATOR IFVS FTW!!!!!

CRAZY IVAN IFVS of DOOM!!!!!

YURI IFVS, MELT THOSE SUCKERS!!!

There really is no end to what you can do with this unit.


Especially when you get a 3 stripe IFV.

Man... I love those things...

Awesomely powerful by themselves, but equally awesome with an Infantry inside.

I love those 3 stripe Sniper IFVs, or Tesla IFVs. Even 3 stripe Flak IFVs arent that bad at all!



In conclusion, almost anything an Infantry unit can do, it can do it better in one of those good 'ol IFVs.

They're pretty good in RA2, but I've hardly used them in RA3 which is a shame really. Their AA capability in RA2 alone made them worthwhile.
