The Allies were great! The Soviets had the raw power but you could just flood the enemy with units as an Allied side. Try a light tank rush (eight or more of them) and watch the enemy crumble

No YR is not included in RA.
RA2, YR= WS' (aka WW) biggest mistake. But it is an other topic.

I will tell you why I mention WW. I know that the evil capitalists from EA bought WW in that time, but the problem is that the holy Joseph Kucan took part in this herecy, RA2, as a director. So did most of the WW crew. And don't forget that the name WW still existed.

But in general you're right. The dark force was affecting WW, so we should not blame it.

I actually quite liked TS.
All of the older C&C games are excellent games, but TS was actually modern, but still classic at the same time. It provided a feel of nostalgia, but at the same time, it felt like a very playably modern game.
RA2 is probably a close second though.

Beaneh likes TS? Woah... after all of the times I've spent talking to you, I don't think we've ever talked about C&C. Makes me wonder what we've spent our time talking about...

...changing the subject then! It's definately TS for me. I love the atomosphere the game carries. It's like when I'm playing it, I feel so involved. Too many times I've stayed up all night on there, laughing my ass off and playing games, having no sleep to go to school!

That aside, I love the original C&C. Original and almost best. Wheee!

Well, I just love the depth of the units in TS too. You can't have infantry wars in RA2, because of dogs and Seals etc. The game either ends in an eng rush or tank rush on RA2 (or almost all of the time).

With TS, inf wars can end the game, air attacks can take bases, tank rushes can of course kill players, very high tech attacks using subterranean or carryall drop-planes can be used or even harvester bombs for crying out loud! I find a lot more variety to the matches than with RA2. It's not a slow game either, most games end in less than ten minutes.

TS all the way, for so many reasons too. The atmosphere was brilliant, the graphics were dark and gritty, the units were awesome without being too far fetched and everything flowed brilliantly. RA2/YR just seemed to be a mash of all kinds of things without any real imporvements over previous games.

I'm going with TS because of the cool futuristic stuff (BOB! is a sci-fi nut), the way cool cutscenes, and the continuation of that uber-cool storyline.

It's not only the best game in the C&C series, it's the best video game of all time, and it's going to be very hard for a game to be able to beat it imo.

Okay, this is gonna sound weird but Generals was really fun. Yes, I know, it had practically no storyline and yes it didn't follow suit with the other CnC games but in all honesty Generals is the CnC game that I play the most. Sure the campaign sucked but the replayability is massive.

Well, i've always loved anything to do with a "post-apocalyptic" setting.(games like Fallout 1/2, movies like Mad Max/Road Warrior) So when I first saw Tiberian Sun my jaw dropped. Tiberian Sun is flawless, its atmosphere is great, its story is great, and, well who doesnt like F-ing BATTLE MECHS! So yeah Tiberian Sun is my favourite C&C game.
