Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this topic, but there isn't a section for TFD so......... here........... we.............. go!

OK, recently my friend was over at my house and we were playing Tiberian Sun. He loves to play it so much he ask me if I could burn The files for him to a CD, but the heres the problem my friends running a older computer using windows 98se (kind-of ironic) and TFD wont run on his machine.

Now, is there a way I could burn the files from my xp machine to a CD (not a DVD) and then use that instead?

TFD wont run on his machine because it is designed for newer operating systems like some of the games included.
CnC1, RA, TS, RA2 and Ren can all be run on win 98 however generals (and possibly the installer program) can only be run on XP and up
and there is no way you are going to be able to burn the content of a DVD on to a CD, ever.

This is all so (burning disks) not very legal, RA2, TS and Ren can all be bought cheaply and Ra1, CnC1 are freeware.
(if you ever get TFD working on his pc patch it with the unofficial 1.03 patch as it allows you to play it with out the DVD)
