I just got the game, and is it just my computer or do the units normally slow at runnin and getting places?

Welcome SBK :)

I'm not expieranced at Generals very much, but I believe the Infantry are to run at fairly average speed - have you checked your game speed setting?

if you're used to red alert / ra2 or whatever then it will seem slower, thats just the nature of the game.

i play on game speed 46 and it's reasonable for me (i dont play online)

I think you get the option when you set up a Custom Game, and probably in the main options menu too

yeah when you're creating a skirmish game theres an option for game speed, its probably default of something like 40

little horizontal bar made up of squares

(im assuming its the same as generals)

Give us (me) your specs. Im gona take all generals/ZH responsiblity cos i own at that game and im the only Comander in Chief here (i have a screenshot so just cos Feckin gamespy deleated my account by 'accident' dosnt mean that rank aint mine)

i think ur game setting is on very low thats all. for me u asked the pc specs then mine are AMD Athlon 3200 + 1 GB RAM and Nvidia 6800 gs

the game runs super fast without any lag. so just chek ur game speed if that doesnt help then post ur pc specs etc

again... someone posting in an old thread.... i sorted SBKs prob out over the PM system about 9 months ago
