Ok... based on all of the press conferences by Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo (http://www.gamespot.com/e3/e3live.html)... which of the companies do you think has pwned the rest of the competition?

I did see all of the press events, and my vote was based on the stuff I liked seeing. IMO, the Xbox 360 and the Wii had some good stuff going. Not to mention the prices... (although, I don't remember if a price was announced for the Wii... I might have to watch the thing again and see...)

The PS3... well, let's just say some of their features looked a little too familiar. As in not original. As in stolen. And, don't get me started on the price. People are crying foul over that.

I love sony and I'll be buying the PS3, although the 360 is a solid gaming system. Sony have definitely become the very thing they sought to oppress.

Sony is not a company that is exactly capable of provididing new ideas and great things. Nintendo has lots of new ideas and great things. Hell, I may even buy a Nintendo Wii -- it'd be the first console I've bought since the great N64.
Then again, I may be found buying a 360 (eventually,) but not a PS3. First things first, though, I'll upgrade my computer before buying a console.

Can't say I've watched the Sony or Microsoft press releases; I don't have the time and I'm not that interested. I did watch part of the Nintendo press release because I wanted to know about the Wii controller, and of course Legend of Zelda!
The XB360 is amazing in terms of graphics but it doesn't do anything more than my PC already does, the Wii on the other hand is being different and I might consider buying it as it could be a great console to play with friends (which is the only time I play on consoles).

BTW... Anyone saw the trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl (http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/supersmashbros/index.html) for the Wii? I won't give anything away about it... but it is too awesome for words to describe, esp. at the end ;)

Well all the companies are terrible. Microsoft and Sony pin their hopes on a powerful console that can do lots of pointless particle effects, and Nintendo (who, once, along with Sega actually made ORIGINAL games) are just saying how their controller can do anything they want it to do. None of the consoles have any games that could be considered good, and none of them compare to the usefulness of a PC.

'Good' is a relative term; I would consider Legend of Zelda, SB Brawl (nice to see Wario joining in BTW) , Metriod Prime 3 and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves all to be good games.
