Need Help On Creating A game

whenever i try to create game, my friends cant join my game using the direct connection and it will show connection timed out. Can anyone teach me how to solve this problems? Thanks!

well im no expert, but either u have a really bad connection or the people who are trying to join have bad connections. but generals is just like that, it is really hard to connect period, if u have broadband then its probally them, but if u have dsl and down then it will be u cause your the one hosting. try having som1 else to make a serve that has broadband and that will probally work. if its somtin else then i cant help u...

ic. But my problem is whenever i host a game in direct connect, i can see my friend nick in my game but he cant come into the game as it will show connection timed out. Do u know whats wrong with my game? is it the firewall setting?

If you've allowed Generals access to the internet in your Firewall that shouldn't be a problem. But if you've got router then you'll need to open some ports - the info is in the Generals readme.

50:50 chance this will work..

stick 2002 into the firewall port override in the options.... there are other ports as well but 2002 norm sorts it out.... most of the time...

Hmm i already enable all the ports in my router for General and did the firewall overide to 2002 but it still doesnt work. Is there any other way to connect to my friend ip without using the direct connect?
