There's also a concept art of the Nod MCV that our very own Rico has been working on, the mod's creator Assassin assures me that once you've seen it animated, your scepticism will vanish!<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>A second mod in as many days has released the impressive milestone of first public beta. <a href="http://www.moddb.com/mods/european-conflict" target="_blank">European Conflict</a> is a Zero Hour mod which features impressive eye-candy in terms of the new units and structures which are added, not only that but the voices and generals are also completely new!<br />
<br />
The final mod will feature three full factions, but this beta contains just the UAN (United Asian Nations) faction, so it's your job to sort out a civil war before unleashing your skills on the rest of the world in later releases.<br />

It's always a momentous day when a mod reaches a public release stage and represents years of labour from the mod team, so congrats to them!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.moddb.com/mods/twisted-insurrection" target="_blank">Twisted Insurrection</a> is a mod for Tiberian Sun set in  2019. The Tiberian World now stands with a very  uncertain fate. The  two most powerful and influential forces on the  planet are trapped in a  never ending dead lock of war and combat. Whilst  the Global Defense  Initiative has suffered many military  defeats, the faction  itself still stands strong. The  Brotherhood of Nod has struggled and triumphed over its  enemies, only  for its victory to be short lived by the death of Kane,  causing a deterioration through the  Brotherhood and  leading to defeats and chaos.<br />

This isn't a touch-screen iPhone exclusive like Red Alert, but a return to the standard mobile phone conversion we saw for C&amp;C3, but maintaining the class and crawler system, albeit it slightly trimmed back:<br />
<ul><li>Command your mobile base -- The Crawler -- a moveable fortress with  all the functions of a command center</li>
<li>Choose to play defensive and build turrets around your  Defensive Crawler. Or step into the battle and destroy your enemy with  the help of the Offensive Crawler</li>
<li>Researchable active and passive abilities make each unit a  master in its class on the battlefield.</li>
<li>Enter the commandment mode to think through your steps and plan  how you solve challenging situations</li>
<li>Evolve your battle strength and deploy Super Weapons. Call for  massive destruction with the Ion Cannon or call for help and get the  Orca Strike</li>

				Please tell us something about yourself and about your mod team? <br />
I'm Damien, aka, Coolness7, aka, Naraku and I like Strategy games, Call of Duty, Need For Speed. I own a ps3 and I'm not as addicted to Starcraft 2 as some of the other people on the mod. The mod team does their best and even though there are about 20 of us, only about 6-10 of us get online at the same time (usually). Jay is the project coordinator and he runs the website, he's very helpful when he's not PO'd about something, and out of all of our team, everyone wants to do the storywriting, the team really comes up with great ideas and its a shame that we can't use them all.<br />
<br />
As we all know you've made a great start with your mod so can you please tell us something about it?<br />
This mod started out as an idea to bring classic gameplay to C&amp;C4, but since a C&amp;C4 SDK was never released and probably never will be, we decided to move the project over to C&amp;C3. At first we all put together our ideas and we didn't have the experience to put the plan into motion, but as time went on, we got support and more great team members. This mod plans to bring the C&amp;C4 class system into C&amp;C3 and fuse it with traditional gameplay that we wanted to see in C&amp;C4.

				Virtual Control is my third solo album release that came out in 2005. The selection of songs on this album came about from a few different directions. At the time I was still totally freelancing audio work and I frequented Vegas nightclubs more often as a result of drumming in cover bands on weekends. I had noticed that hip hop really became popular as club dance music and so listening to that every weekend embedded itself into my brain. While most of it runs together after awhile, occasionally I would pick out a groove or synth phrase that I liked and thought to myself if I composed my own style tunes with these kinds of grooves I could do something cool with it.<br />
<br />
"The Vegas In-Crowd" was the first written in this time period, poking a bit of fun at the club scene which became so predictable. I think its pretty ridiculous that the clubs use a formula to get the most money possible for what is considered a normal experience anywhere else. For example, you wait in a long line where bouncers are being selective about who they let in, creating the illusion that this is where the cool people hang out so it must be important. When in all reality they just give people with money, and pretty girls the priority. Why? Because somewhere along the line someone came up with the brilliant idea of charging people to "sit down." So for an insane price of say $500 you could sit down in a booth and have a bottle a vodka and mixers. That was 2005, these days they'll even charge thousands for this if they can get away with it depending on the club. Every casino on the strip has one. Lets say you don't care about that and you'll just got to the bar - they'll charge you $15 per drink. So not only did you wait in line for an hour, only to pay the door man $20-$40 to get in, you then get to pay $15 a drink or get reamed in a VIP seat, all for what? So you can say you were there? This farce really struck a nerve and so that's where the song came from. I could buy a new guitar that will last me a lifetime versus one night of drinking with "The Vegas In-Crowd."
