Please post ideas here only pertaining to the single player or co-op campaign. If you are discussing a campaign for a particular side, please include the side you are discussing in the title. The rest of the title in your post should be a few words that generally describe your idea.

These are the ideas that were on the first CNC VISION site, made up of user submissions and ideas taken from the official forums, credit is given after the idea in parenthesis:

--Discover old units from TS and be able to use them! Also see some destroyed units from the previous tiberium wars
(Opinion made by the community)

--Some people want interweaving campaigns to tie the story together, so that for the next game you know everything that actually happened in the previous game. Others like the separate endings. Split among the community.
(Opinion made by the community)

--Continue the classic style of slowly introducing units in the campaign
(Opinion made by many forum members)

--First person FMVs, where they talk to you as the commander, unlike Tiberian Sun where someone else played you.

--Pre-mission menu:
This is good to see the entire story:
There is a room where you can see a stylized computer with a operational system and access to an in game internet, so you can search about tiberium, see the news about another fronts of battle, receive secret e-mail with secrets of the game, store and manage your % of mission accomplishment in past missions, receive orders, something like a virtual windows, with some features.... it simple to do, I can make a Flash example if someone have interest... And it will make the game more cool, think about search the C&C Net for easter eggs...

--Mission resource carry-over:
Already mentioned this in the trailer thread, but might as well consolidate all ideas here...
A small percentage of credits and possibly even units would carry over from the previous mission to the current mission. This would be capped, however, to avoid players sitting on a mission just getting tiberium.
Preliminary numbers could be 10% to 20% of previous missions credits and units, capped to 50% of current missions starting credits, and 50% more starting units (possibly the most veteran ones).

--Credit-trickle mission:
Have some (maybe just one) mission where there is no Tiberium anywhere on the field (obviously blue zone mission - possibly dead in the Arctic).
The only source of credit is a small Tiberium research facility where there is Tiberium being generated (thus the small credit trickle). As a GDI mission, it would be hold off the enemy (maybe a timed mission). For Nod, it would be harder, capture the research facility (and thus gain the credit trickle), then destroy the support base nearby.

--Cancellable FMVs:
Especially in-game ones! If I've played the mission before, just let me skip the FMV and get on with pounding the living daylights out of the enemy.

--Missions for both sides should be familiar. Some things should happen the same. Also if you lose a mission you should have the option to try again or continue with a different storyline. The storyline should be determined by thins you do in battle too. For example if you use lots of a certain unit the game will recognize that it is your favorite. The unit could be your nickname. There should be a computer room in your campaign which has virtual internet where you can read the latest news, Some related to what you have been doing and some related to the latest patches.

--Secret missions like the dino levels from TD
