Hi all! This game is like Herion... I cant stop playing

So a little about me, huh?

Im a Paramedic in San Diego, California. Just a normal dude. I started playing CNC: TFD at a friends house, when he told me I had to put it on my computer, because I was always at his house.

Only one problem, I can't get the disk to read...
It says "Windows cannot read from this disk. Disk might be corrupted or using a format that is not compatible with windows."

I have returned the game for a new one and same problem.
I have Roxio 5 platinum and Windows XP. Yes, it is a DVD drive.

When it comes to computers I am a caveman! So please be patient if you provide help with this problem.

I have almost completed TD and I'm forcing myself to beat all the games before moving to the next.
