Welcome to the forums. I've been here a while now, but I lurk a lot, tho I will probably be more active once I'm finished with my RA2 mod and post it here. Maybe you would give it a try?

Seconding Nyer, Which C&C games do you like? How many have you tried?

For me, every single one falls short of Red Alert 2 in some way. I like the story and gameplay of RA1/TibSun/etc, but I don't like the graphics/interface. I like the graphics/gameplay of Generals/Zero Hour, but don't really like the story or mechanics. (Tho I LOVE the GLA!!!)

...so far, I love everything about Red Alert 2. After I poured over the campaigns and skirmishes, I started getting into modding and I love it even more!!!. (It is by far the easiest game I have found to mod sucessfully.)

I tried all C&Cs, including most console versions. Though I only played RA3 in the MP beta; I never actually bought the game. My favourite will always be C&C1. None of the later games have ever had such an immersive storyline.

I gotta agree with Petras on this one, the pure fun of Red Alert 2 gameplay wins me over every time.
