C&C Browser Game - Tiberium Alliances
It's a week of new C&C announcements this week. The next game to be made available in the universe will not actually be Generals 2 but a browser-based Free4Play game called C&C Tiberium Alliances.
It seems heavily influenced on C&C3. Playable factions are the Mutants, GDI and Nod whilst units such as the Mammoth Tank and Avatar will be making a return. Some of you may remember that C&C4 originally started life as an online-only title before management decided to develop it into a full release so it's interesting to see the idea being revisited. Check out the launch trailer below:
The private beta will be starting soon, head over to the official website to apply now. Personally this is one C&C game I'll be giving a miss; browser-based gaming just isn't my cup of tea.
