These are the ideas that were on the first CNC VISION site, made up of user submissions and ideas taken from the official forums, credit is given after the idea in parenthesis:

--JOE KUCAN = KANE
(OPINION MADE BY ANYONE WHO LIKES COMMAND AND CONQUER EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT)

--Return of Anton Slavik, Umagon, and others, as well as CABAL and EVA. Anton and Umagon wouldn't be too old yet or anything, and Anton is a very important character in the story.

--There should be a twist with the mutants. They are slowly being turned into the Scrin or subconsciously are helping the scrin infect the Earth, perhaps Kane is a planted catalyst by them?
